Not sure that it is the heads. They flow about the same. Could be. But better quench, fresh valve seats, and spanking clean valves are probably a factor.
Or maybe I have just forgotten how good this car can be when everything comes together right.

Never re-checked mine after engine build or after doing a head gasket change........ but if you want to re-check, surely just repeat what was done when first fitted (in correct sequence & torque according to workshop manual)....

The internals are weaker.
Blue or Duncan can advise more, but I think that the main or layshafts are weaker because of the arrangement of the gears. I think they basically replace third for the high gear and the result is a weaker solution but it was designed for low power highway cruisers ...

I had brought some in the past from Richard Ehrenberg (Mopar Action writer), but he's not selling any at the moment ...

Still seems very cheap for an E bod. Advert claimed that it had not and did not require any welding work...

I actually have "almost" enough for 2 upgrades -

1 x 10.87 system - but I need 2 rotors (see above), plus

1 x 11.75" system, but need the larger caliper adapters to ensure the calipers ...
