fixed, just to let those know who offered advice

Checked everything that you all suggested. Basically took all conections apart and cleaned them, cleaned bulb connections on pcb and checked earths......All good now :) Thanks for your help.

I will try these over the weekend and see how i get on. I am assuming the gauge regulator will be built into the fuel or temp gauge? do i just test to earth so i can verify it is running at 5 volts?

Double check the earthing of the dash and also check the 5volt instrument regulator. The gauges work on 5 volts.

Will check the earthing again. If the instrument regulator was faulty, wouldn't that stop the gauges from working at all times? The gauges work fine until the lights are switched on ...

Help!!!

Been busy on the Polara over the last few months. Trouble is now that everything has been adressed, i have an electrical fault :P

Every time i switch on my headlights, the temp and fuel gauge go up until they are reading off the gauge.

The car has had a new voltage regulator, new ...

Blue- I'm not sure what colour it used to be, but the VIN plate paint code i believe is yellow (881).

Guy- Geoff Tomlinson was the still the previous owner, his son Lee sold me the car, got the impression that they used it an awful lot in the past, just not that much anymore ...

Thanks everyone for your warm welcome.

Going to use it most weekends weather permitting....

The cars had a bad drivers side rear quarter repair, seems like a lot of filler in it as well, and the passenger side is starting to rot too, first on my list of things to fix.

Just wondered if anyone knew ...

Just bought mt first Mopar and the previous owner had left their MMAUK membership cards in it, so i joined as soon as i had the chance!
