as i'm so decisive and never change my mind...... i've swapped the 318 engine and box for a jensen 383 and 727. i know i know i bought all those 'goody' bits to make more power from the 318 but it's a small block and i'm building a gasser so it really should have a big block right? :thumbright ...

we got all of the tyres removed from the torq thrust wheels today ready for the guy to collect them. i'll reuse the tyres on the slot mags once they've had a good polish. i won't know yet if the rears will clear the arches to roll it back over to my main garage by the house, if not we'll have to fit ...

it looks like i've sold the torq thrust wheels. i know, i know but i have a soft spot for slot mags so..... i picked up a skinny (4.5") pair at the supernats and today agreed a price on a pair of 10x15's so slots it is, lol.

it's nothing some careful masking and a can of satin black wouldn't fix though. with the black fittings the top half to match would look fine.

while you have a big hole in the bottom of the tank will you add any baffles either side of the new fuel 'well' to help keep fuel there all the time?
