I would suggest this one;

It has just a little more duration than the stock cam but much more lift so you get more power than stock and it will work fine with the 2800 stall converter.
It also does not need a huge amount of compression. But I would shoot for something like 9.7:1. Certainly I would not go much higher with this cam because I would guess you want to run on normal unleaded?
