I drove past that house the house this evening. Don't ask me why I think it, but I reckon the same people live in that house (drive still crammed with odd-ish motors. One of them is under a tarpaulin, and its big, and coupe-like in shape. They always had a car under a tarp on the drive. wonder what it is?

R.Runner, that dark green louvred car looks special. What was under the hood? Looks like it would be worth lots of money had it survived.

I finally found this article from Feb 75 edition of National Drag Racer. In the article it says that the Rose Bros had 2 cudas at the same time. The Cuda which became Cracklin Rose came with a 340 which was swopped into Derecks cuda and a 440 from their old Zephyr fitted into Cracklin Rose.It also says that they were negotiating to buy the purple Hemi cuda convertible from Mustapha Errol with the plan of swopping the hemi and replacing it with the 340 motor originally out of Cracklin Rose.
I also have a programme from the July73 meet at Wroughton. In it it lists in Production D.Rose B/P18 Plymouth 5600cc and in Modified D.Rose B/M10 Plymouth Cuda 7200cc also listed is M.Errol B/M12 Plymouth Cuda 6995cc .From this programme it would appear that Dave and Dereck ran both cars at this meet.

Now that is a good possibility.

I spoke tonight to the guy who owned my Cuda before me, so now got information as far back as July 1982. He had it registered on the roal for approx 3 of the 5 years he owned it.

Gonna meet up with Steve this week, to try & sort out the way forward
