... now available at ATS Euromaster, according to the ad I just heard on the radio
maybe old news
Cant get any prices off their website but it's good to have a choice now - up till recently you could only get em from North Hants Tyres & maybe one other place that I cant remember

You used to be able to order BFG Radials through many 4x4 specialists because the BFG All-Terrain is so popular with them. I got mine that way.
I have an ATS just around the corner from my house so that is even more handy!

That size is not an option on the BFG home page size selector. 295 75 16 only
1965 Belvedere 2 426 Wedge.

Just want to bring this thread alive again.
ATS do stock BFG tyres but not the old Radial T/A tyres that we like to use. Although I guess it is possible for them to order in??
Anyone know?
Plus is the 295/50/15 still available or not?
Mine are getting pretty old and hard so am thinking about replacing them.

What are these Hercules HP 4000 tyres like that North Hants Tyres stock? Any good?

The Hercules tyre actually seems to have a slightly better speed rating.
They are £50 each cheaper than the BFGs which is why I was wondering about them.

Just looked up an independent rating comparison.
Wet traction ratings for the two tyres are the same. Rated at "A".
Resistance to temperature is slightly better on the BFG.
Wear resistance is slightly better on the Hercules. So they might be slightly harder.
Load rating of the BFG is slightly higher.
Speed rating on the Hercules is slightly higher.
For £100 less per pair I would be tempted to try the Hercules. Anyone had any experience with them?

Take that as read.
But I do that with the BFGs anyway. And £50 per tyre less....you have to consider it don't you.

The coupe had 295 x 50 x 15 HP 4000 on when I bought it.
They came off as soon as the car was in my garage. Nothing wrong with the tyres, they were nearly new and felt fine on the road for the drive home.
It just looked wrong with 50 tyres on , so put some taller tyres to fill out wings.
