Thanks Rob, it just gets my goat sometimes that 300 people can look at something and have nothing to say. The internet and digital photos have created a situation where the general public just take it all for granted now, Years ago if you wanted to see decent shots from an event you either had to trawl the newsagents for a mag that had covered it and fork out some cash , or else go there yourself and take your own pics....it's all on a plate now and you don't even need to say thanks anymore. I see this a lot on the Canon forum where a newcomer will post some reasonable effort of some subject, but the majority have been conditioned by seeing pics of the same subject taken by better photographers with better gear....so they don't even bother to post a comment...no feedback for the guy whatsoever, the upshot is that he never posts again since he thinks he is crap. I make a point of searching out all the threads on there with no replies and try to give a little encouragement....in the hope that someone else will do the same for me.
Anyhoo....here is your version James....sorry for the delay. Don't you mean aspect problems?

I only just noticed the front row is chronological '68 '69' & '70
Second row is '69 '70 and '73 tut tut Grahame....get a '71
Bananarama!, friggin Photobucket, give me a sec while I tell them what size it should be!

Beautiful pics Dave
You make a good point, sadly we're a nation of 'don't get involved' folk who are taught to speak when spoken to and don't make yourself noticed cos you might look silly.
This board has a cast of central characters who freely pass comment, sometimes quite strongly, and perhaps the majority keep quiet for fear of embarrassment.
I also think fewer people appreciate real talent and art these days because we're bombarded with banal internet clips, tv shows full of mediocrity, etc and encouraged to applaud such garbage.
Laziness and apathy may be factors too
I'd be surprised if much apathy is present on here though, i've generally found folk with the determination and bloodymindedness to stick with cars like ours are the one's NOT afraid to stand up & be counted.
Bear in mind Dave, time is a major factor here- personally, i've spent very little time on the pc in this weather and at this time of year, i tend to skim through subjects, commenting on very few as i have a higher priority just now- a car out there thats been waiting 4 years for a bit of attention
You're bloody good at what you do Dave, i've not seen better car pictures anywhere. Your calendar gets pride of place in my house every year

No-one will believe you...
Thanks Paul, kind words.
Just to clarify though, I was pointing the finger at those on the Canon site rather than here as this is a car site rather than a photography site. The traffic on here is small in comparison to the Canon site as well. I have seen posts get 6 or 7,000 views in a day and not a single response!
I think a lot is now just taken for granted and we have been spoiled by the ready availability of stuff on the web.
