wasps are awsome brought a lot of my stuff from them fantastic servicePatina Charger wrote:Once again no time for photos at the moment but Chris from W.A.S.P delivered the trunk floor and rear quarters tonight so time for work to begin!
He also confirmed that the rear shocks are new KYB adjustables, no air shocks.
More details etc soon.
I am glad to report lots of progress on the weather beaten Death Proof mobile, so now she;s almost rust free. The entire rear end has had surgery bar the rear panel (soon) and the sail panels (being done now). Here's a few crappy pics before the camera gets dowloaded:

Fuel tank in, trunk floor in, lower quarters done, trunk floor drop sides in, one rear panel support saved, one new. Tim @ Roadhouseretro.com is a damn good welder/fabber and he loves working on historical tin.
More stuff soon. MoT by xmas I hope!

Hey! good progress
Shop carefully for your rear panel, currently on the web anywhere from $260 to up near $600. You need a good man with a wheeling machine and a tig welder.

I think it's coming from www.jimsautoparts.com. This was the only place i could find that sold the trunk gutter panels and they are superb fitting panels.
Shame the exchange rate is crap at the moment.

Cheers Steveo - the decoding site I used reckons she was built December 01 which means the car will be 41 years old tomorrow, right? If it is an early one then I think it does have separate inner trunk lid. The rear panel braces were all unstitched (spot welds drilled out) and then we managed to save one. The other was peppered with holes so I got a replacement.
Here's some more welding shots. New rear panel shot on its way

Found this the day I collected it from the Docks too:
