Hey No Neck , spose the drinks are on me. ;)

Yep , got the bottom end buttoned up on the 572/588/602/604/604.6. 8-[

Torqued the rod bolts up to 75ft/lb/.0065 stretch , think i got lucky , as all worked out spot on. :shock:.

Ok , the way i worked the displacement.............

4.562 X 4.562 X 4.625 X .07852 X 8 = ? :?

:woohoo: it's a 604". :D

I'm making it 621.88 :shock:

Stroke X Pi =14.9473
Radius squared =5.20068
Multiply above = 77.36124164 X 8 = 621.888993312
1965 Belvedere 2 426 Wedge.

No,my rod length is too long :shock:

I used 4.750 instead of 4.625 :roll:

Still get 605.635066378 using radius squared x Pi x length :D

Knew it was bigger than 572 but was guessing at crank stroke :thumbright:

Adam, are you going to de-burr the inside of the block around the lifter gallery's and give it a coat of paint, all helps and doesn't cost much :thumbright:

Was thinking about cleaning the lifter gallery , was gonna do it when i clearanced for the rod bolts , but forgot :roll: , would'nt take 5 min with the cutter , bit late now , unless i strip the rotating assbly down again. :shock: :cry: , do you think Blue would of removed the excess iron?

Hell yeah, and used "light" coloured paint :D

Love that turqoise blue colour :thumbright:

gotta put a coat of paint inside to help speed oil drain back :read2:
