driver door wasnt to bad two small patches in both lower corners then more filling and painting to get both rear wing and door straight

Just seen this thread, cant believe the Chevy's gone but wow what a fantastic replacement, an original post car :thumbright:

Cant wait to see the progress on this one mate, what are the plans? Colour, wheels etc?? or are you keeping it close to your chest for now?? 8-)

Looks like you have the same problem areas we did a few years ago (20, to be precise :? )

We had to have the trunk extensions made to replace the rusty bits back then cos they werent being remanufactured.... hope you got yours replaced before welding the new quarter repair panels on :shock:

underside of bonnet was grit blasted came up great two small pin holes repaired. front screen valance was rusted drivers side. cut out and welded a small patch, when the screens in it should be a ok repair.

Nearside rear quarter panel and had 10mm of filler. the bottom of the door was rusted out and front of the rear quarter was the same

door had a new lower skin repair patch from roc autos.

I have a brand new pair of the "L" shaped qtr molding gaskets for what I think are for a road runner that were shipped to me by mistake you can have :thumbright:
