I say no bike's, fwd hot hatch, japs or similar, that are not in the spirit of the event.
Luckily the q's werent massive so dont think anyone minded, but id been queing for a couple hours for 1 run & there was lots of the above racing id be pretty peed off.
+ if your in the grandstand as a paying customer who by the nature of been there in the 1st place only want to see yank muscle, youed not be amused just seeing a general selection of machinery
saying that I was watching the crewe lad getting fast & faster & looked like he was having a reall good time, but theres a time & place for it
The q's were just right for me, just a quick 10 min wait most of the time

Bloody hell Rich, what's wrong with the V.W.'s? They have a great scene. And look at some of those ones at shakey! Real nostalgia all the way!Rich wrote:Hmmmmmmm,I dont mind a few like this time but once word gets out that they allow bikes @ the Nats it could all go a bit jugs up..
Look at the Garys picnic/yanks weekend theres a shed load of vw`s there these days..![]()
I went to a VW meet last week, and was welcomed in me ol Fury!
Or are some of em getting a tad too fast? Eh? is that it? eh? eh?
Saw a VW break at the top end a few weeks ago, shame is was supposd to be the fastest flat 4 VW in the world..... Still cracked off a 6.7 though!

I am keeping this Mopar....... SOLD!
Think fairly being an outsider , we have bug jam before nats I would go to that if I want to see vw yes I agree they would welcome the odd fury but if 10 turned up would they welcome you so much ?
And bikes have bull dog bash would they like to be invaded by Mopar not really, everyone can appreciate great fast vehicles at there own events
And few attackers but if we all invaded other events it would be pointless
I have a reasonably fast very heavy radical car and have been really welcomed at Mopar, hot rod events and have made many friends but at any time I felt I was invading a particular event I would not be offended
( no comment please roady x )
See you all at the drags xxx
