Snipping tool Help

Post by TYREMAN »

No i do not want the snip! its PC snipping tool help.

When using Snipping tool i want to snip a full screen image, but it will only let me snip in normal view.I do not want all the toolbrs included obscuring the image.

When i press f11 the site I'm on goes to full screen, but i can not snip then,i can only get access to snipping tool when the toolbar of open programs is displayed at the bottom of the screen

I have my graphics res on max to help, but i want to be able to snip inside the full screen,or at lease have full screen with just the program bar at the bottom and the top toolbars hidden.
any one know how to do this?

the other way i can get around this for most things is to change my display to portrait before the snip, but that is a pain as everything is side on :D if i get a new monitor im tempted to get a portraight size one as i prefere that look to widescreen on the laptop.

Stupid question, but have you tried hitting F11 to go full size, then hit "Print Screen" (to the right of F12), then open up your program or Windows Paint, then click paste.
This should give you a complete screen shot without your task bar etc. as you hit F11 1st eliminating them.

Hope it helps :)

Yeah, it's ok, but abit basic, but at least it'll get you out of a corner when needed ;)

That's what I always do - PrtSc then open Paint, paste the image, then crop to get rid of the toolbars etc.

Useful for printing full page maps off Google etc :thumbright:
