what you got an alfa for?
Mine is sitting on the drive waiting for me to fit a water pump, which means the cam belt has to be changed as well just replaced the master cylinder and four brake pipes, still got a steering link to change aswell. Check your water pump, it needs to have a metal impeller, the plastic ones crack and slip on the shaft.

Because it gets an average of 60mpg, is "Sporty" at the flick of a switch and, as it is only just over a year old, it still has almost two years full warranty and full AA cover. They cost "£18,700 on the road" when new and I got this one for £12,995. It was still at under 7K miles when I picked it up.
Plus it is much better looking than the usual Golf/Focus/Astra type thing.

Quite happy with it at the moment thanks.
I agree, love the throttle response, drive-ability and comfort, not to mention all the toys. Wasn't having a dig, just never thought it be your cup of tea, what with their reputation and all.
