So,does this club have some sort of image problem amongst other clubs or car owners?
Your middle quote was what was said to me at an event last year when I was asked what club I belonged to. Perhaps the guy was a disillusioned former member. It certainly wasn't the reply I expected
1965 Belvedere 2 426 Wedge.
Climate change, global warming, the biggest tax raising scam ever devised by man for mankind.
I don't think the club has an image problem at all Steve, the vast majority of people I meet know the MMA has a great reputation of helping people out and has some very knowledgeable members that have been on the Mopar and American Muscle scene for a very long time.
Maybe it's a combination of a personal spat with an MMA member, envy or just plain ignorance that makes people say things like that.
I'm too bloody old and ugly to let it bother me, but the committee will always do its best to ensure the MMA does its best for its members and if there is room for improvement, or anyone wants to have their input in running the club and make it better, the door is open, step right up, we'd appreciate the help!
The pump don’t work coz the vandals took the handles.
The problem is, there's not many mopars that run under 10 secs, they should have made it 11.
I think the mopar guys are a real select bunch and i'd like to keep it that way. It seems unfortunately to make the event viable, they have to dilute it down.

Im new to this site but have been on a few in the States. This one is fantastic, no two ways about it. There doesnt seem to be any bitching and everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful. One site I went on had its main thread concerning why people werent voting for their car of the month competition! I did vote, but because I wanted to, not through being hounded etc. This site makes me want to get involved and I dont feel any pressure to do anything. I have a little to contribute here and there but in time, when I learn more, maybe I will be able to contribute more. Its great that its not all about cam lift and duration, gear backlash etc etc, there are great threads on travel, tv shows, car collections etc etc. With all this, nice people, great advice, who needs FB?
My vote is with the MMA and all this for the cost of a round of drinks!
