Any raggies on the mop do their best to flail off ya skin

been there tried that never doing it again they spin too fast and there are no short cuts in polishing other than things designed for polishing

Err yeah, I know that Dave. That's why I used the mop on my polisher rather than the DA.

In answer to your question Rob, it's a Streamliner fairground car manufactured by The Allan Herschell Company, circa 1935.

At the time, they were reknowned for producing the Rolls Royce of fairground rides.

Here's all the info if you're interested.

Saw an episode of American Pickers where they found som similar items made by Herschell... They were the holy grail by the looks of their reaction to finding them (I think in a warehouse in Manhattan).

Fantastic looking work Jem!! 8-)

Have you done anything to help it maintain its shiney appearance for a prolonged period, or is there a risk of it dulling/pitting?

Keep up the good work buddy! :thumbright:

It'll never pit fella. Just the occasional wipe over with Meguiars NXL which in my opinion is the best on the market by the way chaps :thumbright:
