Very nice car, if some one really wants it then it will sell but may take a long time.

It's also manual box as Pete_B says which you are not after.

That looks like what I'm looking for :)
It's reassuring to see that in only a few days there are several options.
Boot size has become a bit of an issue with a Chally.
It's not been of importance when I've seen cars in the flesh before, but it is now.
I need t o investigate companies that ship etc

I have to say that I think the "E" Body driving position is awful (sorry guys) as it was designed out of the "B" body parts bin.

You sit pretty much flat on the floor with the wheel under your chin and your right foot contorted to reach the gas pedal.

As Dave said, you REALLY need to see one in the flesh and sit in one and preferably drive it. I think you will be surprised how compromised the ergonomics are.

I should know, I have had 6 or 7 of them. I never learn. Million Dollar looks and then dissapointment when you attempt to drive it..............

Hi Stuart,

Very wise asking other opinions mate....if you are in no rush, why dont you come along to Garys picnic and the nats etc and sit in a few to see what you think?? Plenty of choice and everyone more than willing to help.

We get some fantastic cars come up on here for sale quite regularly so something will come along. As Dave says, that sort of money goes a long long way over the pond! There was a link put up on here a few weeks ago to a company with a huge inventory of classics, proper dream stuff for reasonable money.

As for shipping, Ron of STS is held in very high regard and I recently got a very good quotefrom shipmycar.com......worth a try.

And Pete, now youve disclosed the true worth of your Bee, how about a swap and a bit of cash my way???...seems fair mate but it wont be on the table for long so dont think too about it for too long eh!

Yeah if you are a short arse like Pete the Challenger seating position is too low and far forward.

For normal blokes over six foot tall (or guys using hand controls) it is fine. ;)
