Yep. It makes it hard to shift them for what they are really worth. And at the moment these mass produced supercars are priced about the same as a 318 Challenger that needs another £10K easy spent on it to make it presentable. :roll:

That's why you bought a Corvette, Dave.

Can't have it both ways ;)

Absolutely Pete.

Not complaining. Just can't understand why people think Mopars are worth so much money.

Having two good run outs in the Vette this week. Would cost me £100 in fuel if I still had the Challenger. Probably cost me £20s worth in the Vette and nearly as fast.

faster point to point, ;

its not just mopars/musclecars go look at english classics and i am not talking astons jags etc just pretty basic old 60/70,s tat they are well exceeding muscle car prices now, 5-10-20 yrs ago this was just not the case in many ways mopars/musclecars are on the decline,

It really depends what your interested in.....and it may be different up north, but certainly in the midlands unless very early in the morning or late at night you just can't get from point to point fast anymore!

Quite scary the difference i've noticed in just 10 years in the amount of traffic on the roads.

Hence i stopped chasing quicker cars.
Loved the sound and look of my last car (TVR) but in most case my fave B roads that are close to home were undriveable between 9 and 9. Only option i had was to take an hours to 1.5hr drive out into Wales.

Other than that i'd end up having to do 4 cars at once as they all sit bumper to bumper at 45 - 50 in a NSL zone! :roll:

Hence i've gone backwards to sound and experiance over outright speed!

Sorry, completely off topic but worth a mention as point to point was mentioned.

Can't argue with MPG and cost to purchase being better on late Vette vs 70's Muscle! :thumbright:

I know is also off topic but my 2010 Pentastar at 305hp was just a shade under 25 US mpg that was traffic HWY 5 and around town, I was well impressed.
