Think I'll look into that in the future!
My steel bumpers are like new so selling them will probably pay for 'glass ones from Dale, and the wrapping if I'm lucky!

Fibreglass...

Often used to help reduce the weight of a car

Mine has glass bumpers, doors, front, trunk, not much steel left :D plus a few other less weighty items ;)

In non street trim, my car was down to 2,400lb's, approx 1,000 lighter

Ah! I thought as much. :thumbright:

We got the chrome wrap off ebay, and attempted to wrap the bumpers ourselves, after 2 attempts  we found a local wrapper who did it for us, I must admit we were very pleased with the result :thumbright: :thumbright: :thumbright:

Jim,
Were the bumpers prepped & painted before wrap was applied ?

Did you supply the material & they wrapped or did they wrap with their own material ?

Can you share contact details please, as interested in getting my bumpers done.

Thanks :thumbright:

Yes the bumpers had been repaired and were painted, each time we applied the wrap, then removed it, it took off some paint, so we had to keep flatting it back, the wrappers had there own chrome wrap, but it was very expensive, so we asked them to use ours, there number is 07766 203203, but I'm sure any local wrappers can do it for you :thumbright:
