Suppose your gonna run a 1.1 Fiesta diesel in the Dart ? :D
Think you got the wrong end on this Mossy..........

What I mean is there are currently a lot of Mopars on the street running SBC's, LS engines etc.......He has a Mopar 360 engine already.......Take the 350 SBC out and drop the 360 Mope in.......hence, Dare to be different (good name IMO).

Makes absolutely no financial sense, but then again we like 40 year old American cars so its almost a sane decision!

Prefer a stock 800cc 3cyl diesel over the 1.1 4cyl variant! :D

Nope. A mope moter belongs in a mope. IMO !!

Oh. And I said 1.1 because the 800cc might struggle :D

Tomorrow I want to mount the rear fenders, then the bed needs to come off as it is set at the wrong height. Looks like it has been rubber mounted onto the frame. I have a whole set of crossmembers for the bed that came with the truck. Just hoping I do not have to cut out the floor! These are things I wished I knew when viewing the truck.

If it makes you feel any better Jeff that truck in the UK would have been £7k to buy..........

Will look great with wide rubber on the back! 8-)

Good luck with the project Jeff, nothing wrong with a Chevy truck. A rolling advert speaks volumns. I have seen many rolling adverts with a before and after job on each side of the vehicle.

Today I spent 4 hours on it. I took the box off the frame, notched it and dropped it 2 inches, to where is should sit, Cut out a few places on the 50's box, so as the later 70's fenders would fit, and have trial fitted the fenders. Now the swage lines are where they should be on the rear fenders.

Thinking about flipping this truck, rather than doing a full custom job on it.

No not bored, but this little truck can earn me a few quid, then I could get something else. It only needs bodywork, and that is simple!

Yes, I see your point, always a good way to trade up....then again it would be a good rolling bill board for your handywork...
