Moving back to the UK update

Post by xbrit »

Some remember me asking about info on me moving back to the UK after living in the states for a couple of decades, your response and many others was very negative..... so with my engineering job at Boeing being outsourced from Everett we have for the mean while decided to stay here in the States. I am seeking design work from engineering companies direct, so in the mean time I have got a job with a company called Mainly Muscle Cars here in Monroe WA. Money is cr#p but its cool work until I can secure some lucrative design work.
Here are a few of the vehicles in stock mainly dealing with Mustangs and early Broncos.
Cheers,

I dont blame you for deciding to stay, I wouldnt wnt to come back thats for sure. Looking out the window as I type, the sky is its usual gray its windy and raining and yet to get worse. But what a nice stop gap job to land, dream job for some. Some lovely cars there. The Super Bee and the Cuda with the red stripe are my favs. But I wouldnt sy no to the Chally or the other Cuda.

Great looking cars X - Brit :salute: Thank you for posting.
If I was you I'd stay right there.
As regards us helping you find a job over here if you came back to the UK, I'm afraid I cannot help, unless you fancy working on a fishing boat.

Sod the money..thats a dream job in my book!!

Good luck with the job search...Mrs B just lost hers over here and there isnt much out there at the mo! Think we do tend to paint a bleak picture of this great country at times but it does seem to be going down the pan rapidly to be honest. Mind you, its not good your end either.....watched a programme about Detroit a few days ago!

Great cars there and keep up the good work :thumbright:

Well I just read a report Today that some experts are claiming the UK will have the fastest growing economy in the west by next year, a whopping 2 and a bit percent  Even if that's correct I don't know how soon that will trickle down to affect the likes of us....

Torino is one of the owners cars, it's a genuine Cobra but a project.

Update

Post by xbrit »

Thank you for your response.... they have a web site:- http://mainlymusclecars.com/ a lot of the vehicles go overseas.. and it also has its perks, couple of weeks ago they gave me a good set (but not perfect) of 15" x 8" wide Cragar's for my Challenger plus one of the mechanic's has helped me fine tune my own Challenger to run a lot better. I will from time to time post new arrivals.
Thanks,
