and gary 5ft 7" wide 15ft 6" long ,I know the darts are a little bit longer and maybe the barracuda is too
Fair enough Tel, I didn't realise they were 14s. I'm not budging on the black steels tho; save them for A12s & black cars ;)

If you did want a set of 15" Rallyes tho, these look like a bit of a bargain :thumbright:

all been good with the piglet, now for the next job on the list ,fuel delivery ,as ive still got the small line ,just got a 3\8th pick up and a carter high volume pump,so now I can get on with a hard line front to back,i shall leave the original in place in case I want to use it as a return, but at the moment when I give her the beans I am running out of squirt going into third gear

I assume your putting an electric pump at the back? best place for it as it pressurises the fuel in the pipe. a pump in the front will cause lower pressure in the fuel feed line up to the pump making the fuel more prone to boiling. one of the possible problems when using the mechanical pump.

unless your going fuel injection you wont need a return pipe.

no ,just a manual pump ,had years of holley pumps droneing away at the back ,but if I ever do go that route I may put a later in the tank jobby in and use the return

Interesting Terry! :-k

What kind of power is you SB stroker making and are your current fuel lines the stock 5/16?

When bashing through the American car forums looking up info on the same thing, a lot of the guys were instigating that the 5/16 fuel delivery was suitable for upto 400/500hp and could be found on factory Hemi cars??

Interested to see people's thoughts?

Wonder if the fuel starvation is due to another issue?

definatly a fuel issue as once ive lost power and give it a couple of seconds its filled up again and power is back, its not just the pick up and line ,its got a new pump on there but only a stock one and a cheap filter too ,so its a combination of everything, ive got all the parts so I may aswell just do the lot and be done with it,the engine is rated at 435hp ,but probably a bit less as I have taken off the single plane manifold and put on an air gap for clearance reasons, and dropped the carb size down to a 650dp instead of the recommended 750,seems to like the 650 a lot more on the street

gone up to a 225 60 15,feels a lot better ,don't want to go no more ,as these fill the arch nice and I know im getting close to rubbing in the tub somewhere, better mile n hour too, catching up with my speedo now, having to put a regulator on as I think the fuel is getting past the needle valves, pressure showing 8 psi, think the max for a holley is 7 ;)
