Well, a storming gig by the Stranglers, even Jet Black put in a brief appearance, bless him....76 years young....

I was probably a bit naive, but I did not appreciate how really good they were.

We ended up in the box normally reserved for disabled people but they release the tickets near to the gig date if the tickets have not been bought.

The up-shot is that you are right next to the main PA speaker and it was REALLY Loud, which was nice...

Definitely my type of gig with very loud and heavy rasping Bass features, and supported with really good keyboard work.

I thought that Julie would absolutely hate it but surprisingly she loved the gig too, which was extra nice!!!

It was one of those concerts where you would immediately think "would put on the list of automatic attendance" if they ever toured again....I would really recommend them.

Yep mate, the real deal Mr 7th Dan himself on Bass, etc; though Hugh Cornwell left in 1990.

They are all old boys now (like most of us) but they can still rock!!!

'Rock' isn't just Jem's obscure hair-metal, Dunc, (sorry Jem ;) ) it's a wide-ranging genre that includes all sorts of other cool stuff including all sorts from Chuck Berry to the Stranglers (something better change) and The Jam (David Watts) and beyond ;)
