Welcome Arthur.
My Duster is on the water as we speak and should be with me second week in October. She's not as nice as yours and is a lowly Slant 6 :D

That is except for the wiring loom...........who does a bare shell resto with the original loom? I wouldn't! Might put a new one in later.
With that car Arthur, I would make in my No. 1 priority.
If they have reused the old bulkhead connector aswell..........

I believe many cars have gone up due to frail old wiring and dodgy bulkhead connections.......

That and the ammeter bypass would be high on my list!!!! :thumbright:

WOW

That is a lovely car, as said not many show standard a bodys over here, good to see another.

(p.s you sure its not a 904 trans, to my knowledge and i stand corrected if im wrong but i think all passenger small block cars had 904's, you could fit the small block 727's that would have came from panel van etc, nothing wrong with that as i did it with one of mine)

Sorry nerd moment over

And welcome

Unmolested 340 Duster , superb!

Now, can you resist tuning it with all the aftermarket goodies now available?

I couldn't , those 340s need MORE!!!

Sorry, calmed down now. Nice car, enjoy!

Thanks guys, with all the positive comments I am now even happier with my choice.

Hi Skippy, only 4 weeks away but, I know, it seems like an eternity! Good luck with your car.

Thanks Dave81 for the heads up about possible wiring problems. Might have to bring this forward to this winter and whilst the dash is out it would be a shame not to put a tacho in the rallye dash.

Hi Pete S, I thought the 727 was used on all performance models, but I am new to Mopar and could well be wrong. Maybe some kind, knowledgeable club member could let us know?

Regards Arthur
