A Cheeky Mopar Day

Post by Steve »

Managed to squeeze a cheeky little Mopar day in today. Been driving the Polara round all day, catching up with some friends, drinking coffee etc....finished with a good clean and wax then back to the garage for safe keeping.

Great day....anyone else been out in their Mopar??

Cheers Steve :thumbright:

It was a glorious day sunny yesterday, great drive up to the Pod through the back roads, was thinking if the Valiant was ready I would have been driving it.

Good work men.....I think I enjoy my Winter drives more than the Summer ones as its a real treat on a day off. Its like driving the car for the first time again!

Any idea when your car will be finished Blue?

Come on Ali, got to get that baby out, shes famous now after the NEC show!!

Yes Gaz, definite fear of the dark there by our door challenged comrades!!

Dom....you must post some pics up of your weekly trips....very impressive! I would be the same if my car was at home but its in a rented garage while the New Yorker is filling the driveway :thumbright:

Weekly trips will normally involve finding her parked outside Screwfix/DIY shop/Animal feeds centre (delete as appropriate) usually leading to a 20 minute chat with some random chap (normally started by them asking "is that a Galaxy ?" ) followed by taking 'the long way home', also usually involving a stop at the petrol station (and possibly another chat...).

She could currently do with a good wash, as she's a bit green round the edges, but here's a pic from the autumn. (Remember sunshine?)

I managed to get my own sneaky mopar day in today...
Drove it into town and back to get lunch... then I decided to take the afternoon off work and gave it a good clean. 8-)

Always use mine on winter clear days. Not this time. High on axle stands whilst trans gets sorted.
