Love these big old C bodies.
There's a 2 door 73 new yorker locally that I occasionally spot in Tesco's. Always has it's arse hanging a couple of meters out the end of the parking space and the wheels on both white lines.

Always makes me smile when I see it.

I can do a couple of crap photos now! :D
Apologies for the quality of the pictures... Nic bought me one of these clever dick phones for my birthday last year and I don't really know what I'm doing to be honest - it was my first attempt at taking a picture with any phone, so that’s the excuses out of the way!

I spoke to the owner once. Only briefly, though as it was trying to rain. He told me he'd had it a few years and it's his only car. It's a 440 auto and the interior is tan. The strip down the side of the body actually has really delicate looking art deco patterns on it it's not just a solid stripe. I think the badge on the back said "brougham" or something like that?

One of the things that stopped me taking the plunge with an American car historically was worrying about what parts supply would be like and hearing that this guy was using his like I'd use any brit classic – shopping / tip duty / whatever else gave me the push I needed to stop being soft and spend some money. So I went home, joined the MMA that night and the rest is history!
