Just checked the policy on my Fox Mustang and cannot find any of the above exceptions that Latil has highlighted. Anyone else checked their policies?

Hi Miles,
As I read it RH is now part of Classic Line though I'm unsure if RH is a term used for 'Brentacre'?

I think they are separate, someone might be able to confirm?

"Classicline" and "Brentacre" are different companys.

The MMA deal is with "Brentacre".

Classic line took my query seriously and phoned me back this evening. Their underwriter is away for a few days but has promised to provide a written Statement of clarification that can be used on this website for MMA members to view.

I just phoned both Classicline and Brentacre on an AMG E55 I've just bought and they were £360 vs £240 from classicline.

They could not get close to the £150 I pay for the Dart or £150 I pay for the escort both with agreed valuations of £30k. Maybe age and location plays a part?

Yeh, but they really are different cars. As soon as you get modern the price rises. Figure tihis, my Fox Mustang was more to insure with any company than my Roadrunner and yet the RR would leave the Fox standing performance wise. Not sure what that tells us :?

They were also more expensive for my mk1 and Dart though.
Think you've just got to phone around, get a policy that suits you.

Wow that's cheap - is that limited mileage for the AMG?

Its also worth considering what else is included in the quote; mine includes homes start and breakdown cover plus legal cover within the quote. the latter is often extra (see Adria Flux).,

Steve that's been the norm for insurance company's for years ( when I was a vehicle assessor ) it was always something extra to negotiate with the customer.
So not new.

3000 PA, which is much more than it will do.
I was surprised how cheap also, I have 3 cars with them at the moment though.
That is with agreed valuation also of 10k.
