Hi..hope someone can help, just received my new carter m3672 fuel pump from rockauto, it came with no arm spring..my question is do I use the old one or do new pumps not need one..thanks

I would swap the Spring over, it is an easy job.

and i think it should have had one, although i do recall someone else in the same situation this summer..

good luck getting any sense out of rockauto now your product is here... its almost as if their complaints department doesn't understand that they sell car parts and do indeed mis-list stuff or make mistakes.
send it back at your own expense is the usual outcome, and what they send as replacement gets taxed and import duty if the carrier decides it wants to, and when delivered its is exactly the same...

having said that for the low prices and very quick delivery i'm still always happy to take the risk
