Thanks for the comments,
I've just got these two shots of the boot lid from the VG web site, shows the lid from a better view, its difficult to see but the boot lid curves across and top to bottom, you got to love the English wheel

Hi to all
A quick update on the Coupe, i'm stopping away after tonight for a couple of weeks, so i won't be able to post up or reply till I'm back.
So the chassis is back from powder coating, in a lovely turd brown, the frame rails will be sprayed over a couple of times, then rubbed back to age the rails, the rust on the bare chassis was spot on, but it would of been a waste to let it go like that, plus a waste of money, i'm not building another one anytime soon
They've fitted the chopped front screen surround and the cowl vent (photo's next month sorry) which both look great.
The cage will be white then aged the same way, cos i've got so many rusty parts i can't really leave the other stuff shiny and new,.
A few more parts to order this month are the two fans for the rad, brake and fuel lines, get the glass cut, and the stroker kit, and its all go to get the body back on for the last time

Fantastic Build you got going there R/T!
It's something we all would like to do, BUT?
Never had the time or the money???
So, best of luck with your Dream Car!!!
ps., One point, make sure you put the tunnel-ram on the right way round?
pps., a blown 400 will be more than enough for this lightweight coupe

Right ho, i've managed to escape work for the weekend
I'll be working local for one week, so i'll be able to get over to see the Coupe Monday night to get some pictures, also to sort out the next jobs to be done next month, i maxed out with some parts this month, including a complete third member with gears ready to drop in, that'll see the axle completed, as the strange shafts and disc brake are all ready done.
I'll be selling my old member now, so anyone want a large bearing ford 9" came out of a big Lincoln mark 5.
Roll on Momday
