And how the hell do they work out how much it costs?
They certainly did not ring me and ask how much I spent cos of the snow.
Salt 3.50
New Snow shovel £5
Extra pint of milk 98p
Does that count cos I will still probably use it?
Or is the tax they lost cos no one used there cars?

Can you lot please refrain from discussing the size of my man servant on here.

All I'll say is that it has to have a shoe on the end and we'll say no more on the matter.

As for not having enough snow to build a decent snowman, why don't you try building a snow Brian? A couple of well positioned pieces of snow and there you have it. It's all down to big swafps and chewey sweets dont you know.

None of the roads round here have been gritted! Spent a while doing the snake shuffle up a few hills, got stuck behind a load of other stuck folks, watched two vans pirouette into each other, came home.

Slid past the drive, got fed up trying to get on the drive, left car across bottom of drive.

Spoke to neighbours who all came out to see how far I'd got, then decided they weren't risking it and all went back in. Bloke over the road had no car because his son and borrowed it after he trashed his own on Monday in the snow! (Dad, can I borrow the car? Can you whistle Dixie, Son?)

Walked to the shop at the end of the road for Bacon, Sausage and milk! :D

This is as far as I got this morning. 4x4 would have been useful. Went and got some chicken instead....for the Kites though.

The little guys find it tough too, so I always help out with a big bag of peanuts. Don't forget the ones in your yard.

Fed our garden birds this morning and the woman next door has immediately go the hump at us "Trying to steal her birds." She gave me right funny looks when she saw me with the food, then immediately got into her garden and lashed about more food than you've ever seen in your life!

Bird envy, I ask you...
