Hi Paul. Tony 383 has asked me to post up a few pics of his Truck ( he don't do technology well !!!) in appreciation for your help in its build. Still in progress but getting there after lots of fabrication and welding..... And welding .....and welding. You get the drift !
So. As he bought it.

Looking smart, he's doing a nice job of that!
It's a bit tidy for my taste though
I take it the window mechanism arrived ok?
I've just replaced a faulty sealed beam unit on mine. I found a local place that advertises on ebay doing H4 lamps for under a tenner

. When I switched the new one on I realised how crap the old one's were!
I'm replacing the other sealed beam today

So I've been thinking about the Truks limitations since Wren was born, specifically that I can't fit all of us in it, making it largely useless!
I'd need to somehow add another row of seats, or two single seats. This would pretty much mean converting it into a van
Any ideas/ thoughts anyone?
The plus side of the current situation of course is that I'm forced to use the Belve if I need to take more than 2 kids anywhere

Truck man style top ?
Obviously fitted permanently .
Rear screen out, appature made bigger. 2 seats in the front, providing a " walk through" to the original bench seat in the back ?

That's one possible direction mate yeah.
The fuel tank occupies the space behind the bench seat though so that'll need some thought!
Of course the obvious solution, if I could ever bring myself to do it, is to just sell the Truk and buy a van!

You need a Trailduster mate, I had one many years ago, Mopar version of a Blazer, IIRC the top was removable too.

Yup, that's what I need. I wonder how hard it would be to convert my Truk...

Fuel tank is leaking
No visible leaks but it stinks in the cab. It's leaked before where the tank has rubbed against the cab wall. Last time it was 3/4 of the way up so only fumes and an occasional splash gets near it. Probably gone near there again.
The tank lives in the cab behind the bench seats which obviously has to come out first. Unfortunately even with my determination this is too big a job for a cripple
I'll see if I can blag some big strong boys to lend a hand as this has to be fixed before the Nats!
