If the roach flys in it's ok, if it walks in there are others around.

You shouldn't get too many of the nasty spiders there, the Funnel webs don't seem to like Brisbane too much, there will be alot of Huntsmen but despite their size they are harmless. Carpet Pythons everywhere though! We used to have one that lived in the roof.

yes the cockys are a pain

http://www.termite.com.au/cockroach-pest-control.html

don't stamp on them....they squish out eggs or babies or something which you the walk round the house.

they will come up the drain in your shower or the one in the middle of your bathroom or utlity room floor as well

few mortean roach traps and a big can of the spray mortean should keep em at bay.

aussies will tell you everyone has them.....there is truth to that but a little time and effort means you can prove them wrong (something you should activly try to do every day :) ). i always found it a bit disgusting to be round a mates house and see them crawling on the kitchen work tops or along the back of the setee....we never had that issue....

used to install broadcast equipment at TV stations

we allways had trouble with PCs and other kit in darwin and north queensland

you would pull out a bit of kit and take the lid off and find it stuffed with cockroaches. they jammed up the fans in the power supplies and seemed to eat circuit boards.

cockys ate my playstation !!!!

spiders anyone?
