we have a little snow here this morning, probably more appropriate to measure it in 0.001” than full inches , we’re all in work and everything’s normal, but I am hearing that the south is closed again today, although I’m sure that’s the media bullin it up again ;) :D

view from my office window …

London made the news over here, as presented by a very smiley fit bird. Worst weather in 40 yrs etc, she smiled, just before the "Australia Scorchio" Weather Report. Boris was on, talking sense as ever saying that rate payers would not like snow ploughs bought for use every 10 yrs.....Still looked and sounded a buffoon, and that is what the Ozzies see  . Great pics, as ever, Dave. Bill Oddie......Met him on one of our Morris Dancing TV gigs. Grumpy Bananarama!! Mind you, it was 7am and he was surrounded by a bunch of alcohol soaked Morris Dudes after a paid put up in the Holiday Inn near Pinewood........Happy Days! Almost passed out before going on live Sat morning kids TV, still better than pukking on stage though.............That Mark Little from neighbours was on. Honestly funny bloke, and that bird Melanie from Neighbours. Seriously Bananarama! up and lucky I didn't nail her behind the caravan............Like I say. Happy Days and good luck with your snow. We used to love it!!! We even got Fake Snow from Carole's mate for Xmas. Add water and you get snow. Was quite excellent, the dust became snow and then reverted to it's dust to put back in the packet......Next day wiping the dining table (outdoor of course!) produced flurries of snow for days! It was also of the consistency of custard, IE you could squeeze it and it goes hard for a moment. Excellent science lesson for George and he actually did the experiment with corn flour and water last week at school!!! He is now labelled PommyEinstein!

Expecting a bright sunny day tomorrow. :thumbright:

That's the Don King of the garden Rich
Bob, I think I will have pop over if you have Kingfishers and Woodies?

I video'd my attempt to get to work this morning, just in case the boss thinks I was using the snow as an excuse. Halfway up Chinnor Hill there was no more grip as you can see from the vehicle in front of me. I thought I better turn round in the entrance beside me while I could, and before he started sliding backwards down the hill and into me!

Great photos as normal Dave. Wish my camera was better. We get all sorts of birds in our garden and feed them every day. We get all the normal birds but we also get Parakeets, Green woodpeckers and spotted ones. You would have a field day on the estate I work on. Loads of different birds of prey and wildlife. We don't have a pond so don't get herons etc in the garden.

Snow is still here but rain is coming down and making very slippery slush. It's worse to drive in now than it was on Tuesday.

Just had a call from one of our guys who's snowed in at a call in Huntingdon. He travelled down from Brum this morning, but while he was there, he got caught in a white out, so he says. They've closed the branch and he's stuck now. His mate says he's been stuck on the A14 for 3 hours, too. :(

All ok here today. :thumbright:
