John the car is looking fantastic its good to see it can be done if you just keep at it. Your car and the work you have done has been a real inspiration for us lookin forward to seeing it in the flesh soon.

Got more done today. Fitted the stripes on the boot got from Moose and beat DM to the deal :D

Also fitted the trunk rubber easily enough but having no luck with sticking the dashpad down. Used EVO-STIK smeared both surfaces, left it for 10 minutes then tried to stick it down, but it didnt work :banghead: Tried again this weighted it down for an hour still didnt work :banghead: :banghead: .

Anybody got any suggestions???? I've got to get it right before the screen goes in :cry:

And Ivor this dashpad is also short at both ends hadnt checked before until you mentioned it!

Looking good John , shame about the dashpad , would silicone sealant (mastic) work any better , sticks like sh$$t to a blanket.

Go for a product called Sikkoflex.... this is the Daddy of Sh$$T to a Blanket brands.
