Bit of an update.

Everything is taking ten times longer to restore than I anticipated but thought you'd like to see a sneek peek on how one of the Streamliner cars is coming along.

Yes but you can never have enough spaceships you need as many as you can get in your fleet to start your own rebel force and rage war against Dart vader :D

Cheers fella.

DA with 80 grit followed buy 240, 400, 800, 1200 and 1500. Front had to be all done by hand.

Then all Mopped with compound and finally finished by hand with Meguiars NXL.

polishing mop on a grinder is not a good way its like holding acompletely unbalanced lunatic wild thing in your hands ...you will polish everything but the item, but mainly your shirt and the garage floor after the thing nicks off from you at 40 MPH and pulls its own plug

Any raggies on the mop do their best to flail off ya skin

been there tried that never doing it again they spin too fast and there are no short cuts in polishing other than things designed for polishing

:D

Err yeah, I know that Dave. That's why I used the mop on my polisher rather than the DA.

Keep taking the tablets and hope you get out of that wheelchair soon mate :thumbright:
