so i take it you have bought both o them mtrs budg,
if you have very strange i had the buick in my watchin and had seen that scamp thingie somewhere and thought it was cheap

No Dunc, the Valiant is cheap but it ain't me and who's gonna buy it here
The Hemi Bacaruda is big enough buck's but worth it.
Funny you was watchin the Buick to=good taste son
Just thought I'd throw some piccys up of summat as it's as boring as watching paint dry on here lately

Quite like that Valiant tho, big uns on the rear suits it
Are there any of those GSXs over here? Cant remember if I've seen one. Great lookin cars

Welcome to the Dark Side of The Force
To the best of my knowledge, there are no GSX's here in the UK (real ones). There is a GNX though.
There is a Stage1 car here, Mike Smith's convertible, which has been at the Nats a few times and won the first (and only) UK MoPar-Buick shootout, although I like to think I won the second, putting away a 528ci hemi Cuda with a 231ci Buick
There was another Stage1 convertible here in Scotland. It was notorious up here for years as being just about the fastest (and wildest driven) car around these parts. However, John blew the engine racing a motorbike and the car lurked for years, but I have lost track of it.
Baryy Sheavil's place had a 70 GS Stage1 hardtop which I missed, and it went to Cornwall, and promptly blew it's engine as well.
My 1970 GS wasn't a Stage 1, but a normal GS455. I sold it in 96 or so and haven't heard of it since.

The fellow in the yellow cap in the top left photo is (was then) the original owner of the only black GSX built. The car only came in Satrun Yellow and Apollo White in 1970, fitted with either the 455 or Stage1 engine, but in 1971 and 1972 you could get them in several other colours, plus, they could be fitted with the 350 engine too.
The cars in the top right photo at 71's in Cortez Gold. (Amazing I can remember this stuff).
There was also only one GSX ever made with a vinyl roof, owned by a schollteacher from new (she still had it as well) and she used to race her pupils with it.

The GSX prototype.
Very nice leather interior, different front spoiler and rear wing, and bigger bonnet scoops.
The red GS is the car from the Nats that I always wanted. It is very similar to the car that some US magazines tested back in 1969-70 and the test features in the Brooklands books about GS's.

Whoops, I just realised that I have posted non MoPar muscle photos. Apologies.
Just to balance things up, this is what happens when you drive 380 miles to the MoPar Nats and find that the gates don't open til 1700 on the Friday. So, you sit outside and click your heels, not best pleased to have the gates open to let some French folk out to go shopping. When enquiries are made as to why they get in and not us, it is because they have come a long distance. Subsequent chat to Laurent determines that in actual fact, they had driven less than 200 miles all in.
Those were the days that the two GN's pictured singlehandedly kept the track open for everyone by keeping racing through Saturday afternoon. Not so much drag racing as roundy round racing, and we could get 30+ runs in a weekend.
The white LS6 powered Firebird came down with us too.

that red ragtop buick, blew the doors off my 440.6 charger was well shocked your buick 6 potter also had my charger which was makin a lot more power than that big cube hemi cuda could muster, i love them 70-1s sandy and would own one

The 70-72 Buicks are nice looking cars, and drive well (but I am biased

)
The 68 and 69 Skylark/GS's are awful looking cars though.
I saw this at the 1990 Nats. It was cool. (GSX-a-like wagon)

I remember seeing those US GSX pics before, good to see them again.
Cant understand why no Buick guys have brought a real one in, I certainly would if I had an urge for something non-Mopar, and somewhere to keep it
