Getting a temp gauge is a two edged sword. "What you can't see can't hurt you".

My cooler is air cooled only and not the best type. During the summer it is often up around 230 degrees when driving hard.

a sister company to the one i work for makes fridger and ovens for aircraft , after some sweet talk i managed to get a fridge rad off them , my man in the know recons it will loose up to 300% more temp than the cooler i was running , and its only 6" x 9" , so go raid the fridge :D

i dont think thay would be economical , i will ask a few discreet questions and see what i can do
