He's sent me a few pics and the block number is 2899830-8 which according to my research suggests it's a 68-79 361 truck or industrial block. And he want's the valve steam heights to check the lash. Any ideas? Here's his latest Email;
"Kev,
I have been looking this afternoon on the Internet and wondering if my engine is not only a 209HP Chrysler 75M petrol engine ????? Formerly installed on the lightweight armoured personnel carrier M113. How about this?

If it is, can you tell me where could I get its tech. specifications: How to check valves? Valve steam height? How to get valve clearance correct if any? All tune up specifications?
Thierry"

Ask on Moparts, I'm sure he will be able to get a definitive answer there! It definitely looks a bit unusual!
