I know where you guys are coming from.
The brakes have plenty of power but I would agree there must be contamination/sticky something.
Guess I'm gonna have it all apart again......then set light to it.

Had good results with SSBC , once you fathom which resevoir to use.

You will get all sorts of opinions about this one.

I have a B body with a Willwood vented disc/4 pot billet caliper conversion(straight on to the drum spindles) with a Willwood Master & proportioning valve and it stops me just fine with very little pedal travel and a very firm feel(Challenger servo)and with a 1.3 tonne caravan on the rear bumper.But I guess there will be people who say no to Willwood,

Try using them with manual brakes on a full weight car Rich. That will get your attention.
They just don't have enough surface area to be any good. You ever see a circuit car with small discs?
