Scott,
The problem is not the fact that it might weigh a bit, and how to get it home, hand luggage... ...its the airport cargo staff who will not touch it if its too heavy or awkward to carry properly, because then its a Health and safety issue...bad back injury etc, not worth the hassle to the airport.
Pay shipping and handling and thats a different matter

customs checked heads, tork converter, exhausts, etc,etc last year but had no problems, i have got 6 cases this time to spread everything between, fingers crossed!
