We have a 67 Monaco wagon.

We haven't had that problem, but I have had the instruments out to replace the bulbs, check the 5v generator, and fiddled with the headlight switch.

Not a fun job.

Actually, apart from fiddling about:- checking dash lights, getting the radio fixed, cleaning inside the doors ... we have done very little.

Glitch with the regulator - sorted by getting rid of the can and going electronic.

Water pump probably needs a swap - new one in hand.

Fuel pump maybe needs a swap as well - new one to hand as well.

Linda got someone to swap the petrol tank (axle has to move out the way to get it out) and try finding a 67-68 wagon petrol tank now ... :shock:

It is a great old thing. A very happy car. She bought it in Michigan from a former US based MMA member then used it in Princeton when she was there and shipped it back when she was done.
