so

to powder coating
it cheaper then sanding & painting & alot less hassle
yes blue good idea to cover the diff & tube ends
clive that was the mopar axle ive stripped- piece of cake !
has anyone tried getting bolts/nuts anodised ? as dont want to get the threads powder coated ( as said you cannot get it off )
does the old coka-a-cola trick work ?

Andy , any overspray when powdercoated can be removed with nitromors , although i tried me hardest to mask it.

John, thanks for the offer, but Steve offered as soon as I made my thickness known.
I would like to borrow the plates though if thats ok. Have you still got them close-ish to hand?

Most of the underside of mine is powder coated...11 years now still looks good, easy to clean too....tis the way to go for sure.
Clive as Kev said get it apart, its a doddle, you could do it have faith son
