The superstock hemi cars have 904 internals in a 727 case for less rotational weight. No, parts do not just interchange, it's lot of work, the boxes cost around $6000 and have a lot of custom work. I won't be building one anytime soon...

Mmm. I think NOS has more of a hand in that launch than a lower first gear Kev.

Never used to launch like that on drugs before we put the low gear set in it. It can really knock down you 60ft's if you have enough tyre to hook it up. We did the same trick on Paul Worrows Charger, and that would 60ft in the mid 1.50's even though it was only running 11.2. Wouldn't use one in a light high horsepower car mind, unless you really want to stand it on the back bumper.

I've used A&A ones, not cheap though. If you are thinking of putting one in the 'Cuda, go steady, with that stroker motor on nitrous you will be traction limited anyway, a low gear set would just make matters worse, I really don't think you need one.

Might go with the carb first Blue, then go F.I. and lose the gas ....possibly
Like the idea of that first gear Pull though

That should be enough tyre (for 2 cars). All you need now is BHP & rear end Gears
