Air DA sanders use bucket loads of air...I would guess around 15 cfm and the important thing to look at when buying a compressor is the FAD (free air delivered ) figure.
Anyway, to cut to the chase, I'd say a compressor with a 200 litre receiver and a four horse motor should do the trick!
You can get some great deals from Clarke at the moment and if it's more than you want to pay, you can buy one half the size, for half the money, but you will have to give it a regular rest and a chance to catch up!

i've been DA'ing today!

get the biggest most powerful 1phase compressor u can fit / afford. i bought mine 10 years ago, it cost ?400 and has been fine. Its used every day (one day i really will change the oil!)

quite fancy a dust extracting one myself. because my god do da's make a mess!
