The runs are in order best run of the weekend was the first maybe because i was against the Taxi . Both Kev and I were running slicks for the first time and to say we were dissappointed with our 60ft times was an understatement, both cars not improving we need more rpm to get us out of the hole . I need a bigger torque converter and Duncan is going to sort me out with that. So maybe just maybe I will see the 13's at the Nats

All in all it was a pretty good weekend, I was well happy with my terminal speeds, 110 was the slowest on saturday, and 12.9 isn't too shabby for a full weight B body on teflon tyres!
Qualified fourth in NSCC but developed a misfire on sunday and just scraped through the first round with a 15, I got it sorted but too late for the second round, It was a mopar that went through though, one of those 2.2 turbo things
Band saturday night were excellent
Recognised several club cars in the pits but only managed too see a couple run, Kevs taxi, Guys cuda, and the fast cars from Halifax

Excellent weekend. Wasn't expecting to run good times - the truck tends not to like hot weather and really prefers a strong wind behind it. It must have been happy though, because it stayed in the very top 14s for most of the weekend (best times ever). Must have been the technical advice from Guy, eg. "Go on, rev it to six - it won't blow" And it didn't! :)

The messageboard takes out 'white space' (ie. extra spaces and un-displayable formatting characters). To force space use 'code' and '/code' (with square brakets instead of quotes) ... like this:

Code: Select all

column 1 column 2

item 1 item 2

I would hardly say i kicked your butt Kev, more like you took pitty on me and gave me a red light to race against. It was the first race of the year for both of us and we were both a bit eagar to try out the slicks and other winter mods (pitty they didnt all work as planned did they mate ), but saying that i'll take any win I can. :)

Shall have to check the video for your run against Guy think I may have that on tape. Want a copy? Should be easy enough to email you it if I have it?
