I've already scanned a load & posted them on here (in Archive) but I've a few more to look thru & I'm sure there's others, Stu may have them tucked away somewhere
Blue wrote:It would be fantastic if we could crate a data base with the pictures catalogued by registration number, with a search facility. I realise that would be a huge task, and perhaps not even possible, but I'd be willing to help out doing it. What an archive that would be, a photographic record of most of the mopars that had ever been in the country....
I was thinking about this last nite as I went to bed (as you do

)
Not sure what would be the easiest to achieve, or the best solution for solution for what we're trying to achive, but if Blue's idea of a searchable database by reg no proves tricky, maybe just a simple archive with sections for each model, separated into model years, would be sufficient
There's already a lot of good info/history posted on here but it would need to be copied/moved to the relevant section. Any additional info as it comes to light can be added as & when.

No, he is upto other things (when he isnt being an international man of mystery).
Have to say though, I love those old pictures best of all. Especially ones of rockers in their young days with big bouffant hairdo's peering into the engine bays of wing cars you old Lonnie Donnegan you

No problem, and we can cross reference with VIN, colour, model, make everything searchable.
I feel a working commitee coming on!

Well I'll put my hand up and volunteer with Blue and Martin to help build a database...but we would have to restrict it to Mopar only, or we'd be here until doomsday trying to nail the thing together.
With the help of the very eminent Mr Runner, Adam, Blue and the other guardians of some excellent old photographs, I think it would be a valuable source of historical information for every Chrysler fan.

Dave Bishop used to make me groan with the stories of cars he had pass though his hands, and the prices they went for. Bottom line was, no one really wanted them. He told me a story of a SBird (sure it was a V Code) for sale at Alexandra Palace. The guy wanted about £1800 for it, and it was quite a decent car.
The other one he came out with was the original inlet manifold and twin 4bbls from a 426 Hemi that was used as a door stop. They got skipped in the end as they were in the way.

I'll get it OK'd first and then be back with an anouncement.
