I think the brass shoe on wheels was some kind of Model-T racer (c'mon Tone you should know, being a Ford-o-phile

)

I had doubts about it's street-legalness too - confirmed when we saw it being driven on its trailer later in the evening

I think it had a recent Goodwood F.O.S. competitors sticker on its tin-work, so at least it does get used & abused somewhere
