Since I've never been to NI or Ireland, i thought it would be a good excuse, a trip with a purpose, and I will do a bit of a tour I expect.

As far as i know Sandy the 67 coronet has been in Ireland for some years now, originally a 383 (which is now going into my new project) now is sporting a sweet 440 from Mick70rr's runner, its a really solid car and as far as im aware it came straight here from the US, its all original apart from the paint which will be redone in the future, and is solid as a rock in all area's. So i dontthink this is the same car that you know?
i was looking down the pictures and when dixie [used to call it that named by the family] turned up had a tingle down my spin she looks so good glad to hear they are injoying itmo_malone wrote:Yep thats Si,s old dart, we picked it up from Ray a few weeks ago, one of the guys got it for his wife and she wont get out of it now, loves it to bits, drives it every day to work and has abandoned her daily! great little car!bananaskin wrote:Is it me or is that Simons ex Dart? Mark, the All American show held by the Midlands American Auto Club is on the 7th of sept in Kilbeggan Co. West meath, its only about an hour from the boat and is an all weekender if you want it to be!!!!newport100 wrote:Nice Pics David- what date in Sept?- How bout an MMA Car show/Bananarama! up?

They hold this show in may to allow other brand cars to show as the later show is just for american stuff!
As for holding an MMA event, i would love to see it happen some day but to be honest i cant see there being enough Mopars over here to pull off a big enough turn out, but i could be wrong? there are alot of cars in the country now and there seems to be alot arriving each week, and im sure there are lots out there which dont do the whole show thing but just cruise around instead!
Will look into it though if we could get enough from that side of the water over we could surely get something sorted, there may even be a nice spot with all the essentials right beside it just up the road from me! ie. FIELD,PUB!
must have a chat with a few lads and see what the vibe is, but you will see a few of the good old boys at the nats anyway, so it can be disgussed!
