Cheers, Mal. Was it an old guy with a beard driving it or a youngster ?

Ian has had that car about 30 years now, and longer than he has had his son, who took over most of the driving. He lives over Livingston way. I must get back in touch

no pics off cliff turners dart ???? it sounded strong and could have been a challenger for the mopar kos title but for some bizzare reason has 12" slicks so has outlawed himself, that car would still hook up easy on a 10.5 tire, i reckon it will go a 9.80s

Extract from Email from Cath Tig
"Can you let Sandy on the forum know that Ian Houston's Firebird was being driven by son Paul at the weekend, and ran a best of 9.1 @ either 154 or 156. On street tyres and through the mufflers. It's now got a 555ci BBC with a tunnel ram and a Bananarama! of nitrous. We haven't seen them since they used to come to York several years ago, and neither of them seem to have changed a bit :o)"

Hi Kev,

Thank Cath for me.

I must get back in touch with Ian. Damn how easy it is for time to fly by.

All the best
