You would get more trade if it was "BEE JAY"
Bit of snif may do the trick if you don't wantto loose the highway gears.

They go in the axle not the engine.
You sure you are not over revving it Jeff? With a stock or near stock can it will not make much power over 5000rpm.
A sniff of gas word work if it was a small "75hp" sniff. Like from a top hat system. More than that and the engine will climb out all by itself.

The truck had 3.93 gears in once upon a time. I have a letter from a guy that owned it in California, from Terry. Sounds like they scared him a bit!
I did wonder if I was over revving it Dave. Perhaps I should've shifted earlier than the 5K. I know it has a gay cam in it.
So perhaps, better gears, and just a little gas? I am not after a real performer here, just want to show up a few people at the track.

I thought he had the centre section off of me for that , maybe it went into his camper then that was a 489 with 3.23 gears.
