I think most people that do this kind of thing do it for free?

Also I think is only done once per race meet and only takes a couple of minutes max. Usually before racing even starts.

You would have fewer oil-downs etc if leaky or ill fitted parts were spotted and sorted out at that stage rather than let go on the strip.

Even banger racers have scrutineering.So do the All wheel drive club trials,even if you have mot.

A voluntary scheme run by the club would be ok if everyone could agree the rules. :lol:
